I'm calling it now Snoke is a collector of Artifacts, Imperial or otherwise, and that'll be seen in The Last Jedi. When the iconic yellow print crawled up the screen during the opening of Episode IV: A New Hope, no audience member had ever heard of the evil Empire. Captain Phasma's Armor uses the chromium from Palpatine's Naboo Starship as well maybe Snoke encouraged her in doing that. It would be fitting I think for Snoke and the First Order to appropriate more archaic Imperial vessels. Maybe that's where we'll first see Snoke transported from an already huge First Order Battlecruiser Star Destroyer to the Eclipse. The characters in the canon books take the vessel and head into the Unknown Regions to start the First Order. This could be the canonized version of an ( (Eclipse-class) which had the same purpose in Legends. Maybe this mega Star Destroyer that Snoke's Battlecruiser Star Destroyer is docking in could be the ( (Super_Star_Destroyer) mentioned in the Aftermath series of books which was said to have been Emperor Palpatine's Flagship.

Additionally I think it fits with the philosophy that Snoke likes to have absolute control over his forces, because what better way to showcase that than literally keeping his Star Destroyers contained with him. If you combine this with the leak we got from MSW about Snoke's supposed "Mega Destroyer" making its debut in TLJ, a First Order Resurgent Class Star Destroyer entering the hanger of a Mega Destroyer would be a great shot to show the size and scale of the new massive ship. Edit: I also looked at existing box art for Star Destroyers, and there's never been a set with one displayed in a hanger, all of the Star Destroyers are displayed in space. Similar to how the Resistance Transport Pod and Resistance bomber show the ship both in space and in a hanger (Front of the box and back of the box respectively), the Star Destroyer set would appear to show the same. With the exception of Kylo Ren's Tie Fighter (the Tie Silencer) both front and back of each box is displayed. Now I understand these are Lego sets we're talking about here so take this with a grain of salt, but if you only look at the box art that the sets will come in (not the promotional art), each one of them displays the set where we expect to see it in the film. With the recent leak of the Lego Star Wars sets from TLJ seen here: I noticed that towards the end of the album the new Star Destroyer Lego set is seen in a first order hanger, with a clear First Order symbol in the bottom right.
